Everything you need to plan your journey to Baba Adam Mosque
Rampal, Munshiganj District, Bangladesh. Approximately 30 kilometres south of Dhaka, the capital city.
The mosque is situated in the village of Rampal (also known as Abdullahpur) near the historic Bikrampur region, making it accessible as a day trip from Dhaka.
Take a bus from Dhaka's Gulistan terminal to Munshiganj. From there, hire a rickshaw or auto-rickshaw to reach the mosque at Rampal.
By Road: Via Dhaka–Mawa Highway, approximately 1.5 hours drive.
By River: Launch services available from Dhaka's Sadarghat terminal to Munshiganj.
Open daily from sunrise to sunset. The best time to visit is during the winter months (October–February) when the weather is cool and dry.
Visitors are requested to dress modestly and show respect for the heritage site. Photography is permitted for personal use. Please do not touch or lean on the terracotta panels.
Idrakpur Fort, Sonarang Twin Temples, and Harishchandra Rajbari are within easy reach for those wishing to explore more of Munshiganj's heritage.
Wear modest, comfortable clothing. Shoes must be removed before entering the prayer area.
